WALLACE
BREED: Chihuahua cross
AGE: 13 weeks
WEIGHT: 6 pounds
PERSONALITY TRAITS: Wallace is a spunky little dude who is always ready for an adventure or cuddles on the couch.
LIKES: Wallace enjoys cuddling up to his foster family’s 75 pound dog, and tries his hardest to get him to play every chance he gets. He’s got puppy energy but is quick to cuddle up next to you every time you sit down. Wallace knows no stranger, enjoying kids and dogs of all ages.
DISLIKES: Wallace does not like being alone or in the x-pen when he has line of sight to the other dog or foster family.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: This is a work in progress. So far, he’s getting used to potty pads.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: After trying many things it was discovered that the best approach is to have the crate next to the bed at bedtime. He will sleep through most the night without too much whining. However, if you ask him, he would tell you that curled up next to his dog friend or on the bed would be his top pick.
Wallace is learning boundaries with the resident kitties, but he’s doing great. He will thrive in his forever home with a dog buddy, and is just a fun-loving, happy, little puppy. To date, his foster family has only heard him bark once or twice.
