🌳 FIG (m) 🌳

BREED: Chihuahua blend

AGE: 8 months

WEIGHT: approx. 15 pounds

LIKES: Cuddles on the couch, playing with other dogs, and small, cat-sized, toys!

DISLIKES: Fast movements, loud noises, and being picked up.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Fig is a super sweet and timid boy, who would love a calm house with some lovely humans and another dog (or dogs) to play with! He is friendly and curious of cats, and very respectful of their boundaries. He loves to play with cat toys, tossing them around and pouncing on them. He would be very happy to spend most of the day cuddled up by your side on the couch, preferably under a blanket. Fig is very sweet, though also fearful of new people and situations, so he needs someone who will be patient and kind with him while he warms up and will help socialize him to people without a lot of pressure to interact until he trusts strangers a little more.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Fig is doing very well but still needs more time to work on it. He holds it very well if taken out regularly, but he doesn't give any sign when he needs to go potty. If taken out regularly, on a consistent schedule, this smart boy will be potty trained in no time!

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Fig does wonderfully in a crate!

EXTRAS/MISC.: Fig is best suited for a home without children, or with older/calmer children who can give him space and time to warm up to the household.

We are so proud of Fig and the progress he has made while in foster care. In the right home, the possibilities are endless. ❤️
