Looking for a new friend without that puppy energy? We'll be posting some of our available adults this afternoon. These dogs have fewer needs and more life skills than our puppies, for those of you who don't want to have to keep up with having a toddler in your house!

ALFIE found himself in need of a new home after his owner needed to relocate to a memory care facility. After a while of being pretty shut down, he started coming out of his shell and showing us his wonderful personality. This 5yo, 13 lb Chi mix loves to snuggle under the covers and loves being with his people.  He enjoys walks and rides in the car. He is crate and potty trained, and seems to get along well with all of the resident dogs and cats. He would be great for someone who wants a chill dog that will still get them out of the house to exercise. He seems to prefer mature households, as small kids can be a bit stressful.

Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how ALFIE will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.
