PERSONALITY TRAITS: PRINCE is super friendly, outgoing, loving, playful (especially with blankets), a true Terrier
LIKES: Being close to his person, lounging on the couch, going on adventures, playing with other dogs, and playing "keep away"
DISLIKES: Being away from his person, having to go out in the rain to potty. Sharing special treats with dog friends
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Almost 100% if taken out on a regular schedule
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: He’s not fond of the crate. He is working on being more tolerant of it at his foster home, and needs ongoing incentives to make it work.
EXTRA/MISC: PRINCE is such a sweet and affectionate guy, and comes with a story that he tells in bits and pieces through his behaviors. He was likely left to his own devices in his past life and he has learned some survival strategies that need some understanding and retraining. Some of these behaviors may be familiar to those experienced with Terriers. He loves playing off leash in a yard. He is spunky and can get really wild during playtime so a home without small children would be best (experienced teenager would be fine). He does super well with all dogs (but will resource guard special treats like bones or chew sticks). He is curious about cats and will chase them if they run (but not attack). He attaches to humans quickly and has separation anxiety when left alone. He may benefit from the companionship of another dog or would enjoy going everywhere with his people. He can be a little overwhelmed by belly rubs, and will growl when he has had enough. He is Ok with being bathed, and almost seems like he enjoys being brushed. He loves to snuggle and would prefer to sleep with you. He is a little particular about his food, which he enjoys served on a plate (not in a bowl) and likes it softened with warm water.
