PERSONALITY TRAITS: King is a bouncy, wiggly, enthusiastic boy who loves to play and snuggle.

LIKES: Food (he burns it off fast!), toys, affection, other dogs, and being wrapped up like a burrito. He loves hiking and even trail running with his foster mom. His fur is very short, so keeping warm is a big goals and he’ll hike for miles with his jacket on. He adores his foster families 10 and 12 year old kids.

DISLIKES: Being cold and being wet. Dogs near him when he’s eating (fed in crate separate solves this).

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: King goes potty outside if let outside consistently on a schedule. He’s learning cues to let his foster family know when he needs to go, and needs more coaxing to go outside potty on rainy days.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: He stays in his crate when no humans are in the house, and he settles down quickly. He’s very quiet in his crate and loves to work on a Kong when his foster family is gone.

EXTRAS/MISC: King is a rambunctious, long legged love bug. He is truly a big athletic dog in a little dogs body and would thrive and love to be in an active household. Small children may not be ideal, as he could knock them over with his agility skills! King is very smart and is learning to sit when taking a treat, he will he still need continued training as he’s young. If you’re looking for a mini adventure buddy who LOVES dogs and older kids, look no further- King is the one for you!
