NAME: Bruno

BREED: Chihuahua mix

AGE: 8 months

WEIGHT: 10 lbs.

LIKES: Very active pup loves to go on outdoor adventures and explore. When at home, he likes to play with his ball (fetch) and chew on bones. Burrows in blankets during wind down time, and loves to snuggle with his humans

DISLIKES: Being left behind when the humans go to work for the day.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Bruno is very outgoing, loves to explore, cuddle and learn; He’s very affectionate, he bonded with his adult foster family fairly quick. He currently lives with an adult couple, with no children or other pets besides his sister. When out on walks, he does bark and run towards other people/dogs walking by. We have been working on leash training and correcting these behaviors.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Having progressively less accidents in the house. We have been slowly weening him off of potty pads. When foster family is home, he uses a doggie door with a secure backyard often to go potty and run off some of his puppy energy.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Sleeps in an open crate with his sister, in a pin with access to potty pads. Does sleep through the night but will whine/bark if he hears noises from the other room. He wants to be with his humans 🙂

EXTRAS/MISC. Bruno would be happy in a home with a secure backyard, and possibly with another dog similar in size and energy level to play with. Unknown how he will interact with small children and/or other pets. Bruno is affectionate and enjoys cuddles/loves/praise from people he’s close to.
