NAME: Sawyer

BREED: Terrier mix

AGE: 4.5 months

WEIGHT: 8 lbs.

LIKES: Bones, toys, walks, playtime, being where the action is.

DISLIKES: Sitting still, scary statues, being in pen or crate

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Energetic, loves to play, run, jump, explore. Could make a good agility dog, or at least very good company for a long walk each day. SAWYER is very curious and brave and likes to go on adventures. Even when scared, he has a protector heart. Is cuddly once tired out.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: He uses the dog door in his foster home and goes potty outside. Has marked in his foster home with another male dog, may benefit from belly bands for the first few weeks in a new environment.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Despite it not being his favorite, SAWYER must be penned securely in a crate because he is an escape artist and climber. Activities such as a Kong or lick mat could help him learn to enjoy his crate time.

EXTRAS/MISC.: SAWYER loves individual attention but gets along with other dogs. Currently living with three dogs in his foster home. Overall, he is a cute, rambunctious, loving, physical ball of joy.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.
