BREED: Papillon cross

AGE: 3 years old

WEIGHT: 8 pounds

LIKES: his person, other dogs, snuggles, playing with his person/people and other dogs, sitting on laps.

DISLIKES: The rain, sudden or unexpected noises.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: friendly, briefly shy around new people, wriggly, playful, sweet.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: working on it. He goes outside most of the time but will have accidents in the house if allowed to come back inside before he’s done his business. He doesn’t like going outside when it’s raining- something that will come with time and repetition.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: crate trained but prefers to be in the same room as his people or have the lights off/quiet when he’s alone. Sometimes Rocky will whine but settles down after a while. He can sleep in crate at night, though prefers to cuddle his person/people.

EXTRAS/MISC: Rocky barks at new people, or when others enter a room he is in, warming up to them quickly, though.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.
