Meet McKenna

NAME: McKenna (M)

BREED: Shepherd cross

AGE: 12 weeks

WEIGHT: 12 pounds

LIKES: Lots of cuddles and love, and playing with his sister. Likes to bring in sticks from the back deck and is a little bit more social than his sister.

DISLIKES: He does not like to share food. Will growl at his sister. This is something that can be worked with and trained with if addressed now. He does not give any trouble to people handling him when food is involved.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: He likes to know what is going on but is a very respectful pup, will come to you on his terms. He loves to cuddle. He is athletic and can jump onto couches and beds. He is also quiet but will bark when playing. Very easy to keep entertained.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: He is potty pad trained and has started using the dog door. He alerts his people between 3am and 5am to go outside each morning.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Sleeps in the crate with his sister. His foster family has started trusting him being left to roam the house in short bursts and he’s done well so far. He mainly sleeps in his crate to help with potty training.

EXTRAS/MISC.: He and his sister are a lot alike. Very sweet and polite. He will get along great in any type of household, and will be happiest if taken on regular walks once he is fully vaccinated. He is also good with babies, kids, dogs, and cats. He does give love nibbles (probably teething) at times. He is so easy to take care of and keep happy. Spends a lot of time napping around the house with his sister, and kids in his foster home.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.

Adoption fee is $600.00.

Adoption fees help cover the costs of Transport, Distemper/Parvo Boosters, Rabies vaccine, Microchip, and Spay/Neuters. You will also receive a PetSmart coupon sheet worth hundreds of dollars of savings including a FREE bag of food.

Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog OR a response email if you aren't chosen to adopt the dog you've applied for as we receive hundreds of applications and will choose the best home for the dog.
