1 year old, spayed female, 13 lbs

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Heidi is a really sweet dog. She loves to sit on your lap and snuggle. If she sees something in the yard she will bark at it and tell it to leave. Her eyes are truly magical with the crystal blue eyes with a slight grey outline making it hard to tell her no.

LIKES: Snuggles and couch time with people

DISLIKES: She can be shy at first to new people.

POTTY TRAINING: Does well with a dog door, or regular trips outside.

CRATE TRAINING: She will settle down in a crate, but is not a big fan.

OTHER/MISC: She does great with the doggie door and other dogs and birds. Schnauzers are known to bark at just about anything, making HEIDI not the best option for community living such as an apartment or condo.

HEIDI is a Wiggly Tails "hero dog". Because of her, we will be able to help many other animals that aren't nearly as adoptable. Her premium adoption fees will help cover the costs that are incurred by medically-fragile animals within our rescue. It all goes back into our rescue efforts to support our mission of saving as many dogs and cats as we can.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.
